Goffs Schoolhouse
This school was built in 1914 and was used until 1937. During WOII the building was used as a cantine for the Desert Training Center, the largest training camp in the USA. The Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association is now maintaining the building as a museam and cultural center.

Amboy
The ghost town that ain’t dead yet! Amboy was a ghost town after Route 66 disappeared, but recently people started restoring building to revive the town. The best example is the reopening of Roy’s Cafe.

Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica Pier was built in 1909. On the pier you can find the Pacific Park amusement park, the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium and a lot of shops and restaurants.
